08.29.08 | 8th Annual DWS Brass Fanfare Competition Winners
My piece "Action Fanfare" was selected to by played by the Dallas Wind Symphony, one of the world's premiere concert bands! Out of the 127 fanfares submitted, only 7 were accepted.

02.19.08 | 2nd Place in the 2008 Composition Contest for Brass Chamber Music
"At the Movies" won 2nd place at this contest sponsored by Humboldt State University. The piece consists of 4 movements, all of which are brass arrangements of my "orchestral" music.
